Stuffed pepper


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 8-10 Bulgarian peppers
  • 10.5 oz ground meat
  • 1 cup steamed rice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 onions
  • fennel
  • spices to taste
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation


Wash the peppers and remove seeds.

Combine the ground meat with rice.

Mince the onion.

Grate the carrots on a medium grater.

Fry half of the carrot and half of onion in vegetable oil.

Add sautéed carrots and onion to the ground meat. Add salt, pepper, spices and mix well.

Stuff the pepper and place in the saucepan, so the ground meat is on top.

Place the saucepan with peppers on heat. Add ½ cup of water. When water boils, add sour cream, leftover carrots and onion and simmer until ready.

Mince the fennel.

Sprinkle the cooked pepper with fennel.
