Peach or Apricot cake
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 lb sugar
- 7 oz butter
- 5 eggs
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 28 oz canned peaches (or apricots)
Cream:
- Whipped cream or sour cream with sugar
Decoration:
- Coconut flakes.
Preparation
Cream the margarine with sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Then add milk.
Add baking powder, flour and mix the dough. The dough should not be too tight.
Cut peaches or apricots into slices.
Grease the pan with butter and pour the dough on it and even it out.
Place the peach or apricot sections on the dough.
Bake in the oven at 325F for 30-40 minutes.
Pour the cream into the cooked pie and decorate with coconut flakes.
