Chicken pilaf


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken legs or 17.5 oz filet
  • 17.5 oz rice
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • salt
  • pepper
  • spices to taste

Preparation


Separate bones from chicken legs and cut the meat into small pieces.

Finely cut the onion.

Grate the carrot on a large grater.

Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until it is a golden color.

Add carrots and fry a little bit.

Add meat. Add salt, pepper, spices to taste and simmer for 10-15 minutes. If meat produces too little fat, you can add a little bit of water.

When meat is simmered, add rice. Add boiled water, so it is covering rice by 0.8”. Simmer until rice is ready. Sprinkle with greens when serving.
