Chicken Cordon Brie with Baby Peas
Recipe Ingredients
- 4 Chicken cutlets or breast
- 2 pkgs cream Brie Cheese
- 1/2 lb Shaved ham from your favorite deli
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch pf pepper
- 1 cup crab meat
- 2 tbl butter
- 1 box slice fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup itallian bread crumbs
- 4 scallions
Preparation
Fresh baby peas and star fruit on the side makes a beautiful dish and wait till you taste this chicken.
Pound the chicken into approx. 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
Spread the brie cheese on the chicken.
Chop the scallions and sprinkle on the cheese.
Place the ham on top.
Roll up and pin together with toothpicks.
Spread with the melted butter.
Sprinkle with the bread crumbs and bake at 350 for about 30 min.
Most canned crab meat should be already cooked so all you have to do is heat it up per the instructions on the can. You can add them to the peas just before the peas are done cooking if you want but I always heat the crab meat seperately and then towards the end add it into the cooking peas.
