Stuffed apples


 

The recipe for the stuffed apples was sent by Irina and Nastya. The dish is very very delicious. It is a successful combinatin of tender chicken meat and apples. Thank you very much, Irina and Nastya.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 7-8 average size apples
  • 14 oz boiled chicken filet
  • 1 cut of milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation


Cut the chicken filet into small pieces.

Prepare the Béchamel sauce. To do that, melt the butter and fry the flour in it.

Then pour the milk in and, while constantly stirring, bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Boil until the sauce thickens. Its consistency should resemble liquid sour cream.

Combine the filet with sauce.

Wash the apples. Cut the top of every apple and remove the core, so only the walls will be left that are 0.2” thick.

Stuff the apples and place a small piece of butter on every apple. Bake in the oven at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
