Russian salad (Olivye salad)

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 can green peas
  • 7.0 oz boiled meat
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 potatoes
  • 5 small pickled and marinated cucumbers
  • 1 onion
  • salt
  • mayonnaise

Preparation


This is the Russian version of potato salad.

Boil the potatoes, peel and cut them into small pieces.

Finely cut the cucumbers.

Cut the meat into cubes.

Finely chop the onion. Cover with boiling water for 5-10 minutes, so bitterness would disappear.

Finely chop the eggs.

Combine everything, add peas, add a little bit of salt and add mayonnaise.
