Chicken soup with stars
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 chicken
- 9 oz pasta in the shape of small stars
- 5-6 medium size potatoes
- 2-3 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2-3 bay leaves
- peppercorn
- ground pepper
- salt
- greens (parsley, fennel, etc.)
Preparation
The amount of ingredients is for 1-gallon saucepan.
Wash the chicken, cut it into pieces, place in the saucepan, cover with water, add salt, add peppercorn and boil until ready. Then take the pieces of chicken out of the saucepan.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips or cubes.
Grate the carrot on a large grater.
Cut the onion into half rings.
Put potatoes into the boiling broth and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Then add carrots and onion.
Then add stars and cook until ready. Add bay leaves five minutes before it is ready. Add pepper to taste to the cooked soup, add pieces of chicken (you can separate meat from bones) and sprinkle the finely cut greens.
