Recipe Ingredients
- 3Lbs of Grouper Filets
- 10oz. of your favorite pre mixed batter
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
Preparation
Crispy Grouper Nuggets
Start with cutting up your grouper into 2"x 2" chunks of fish
Then put your frymix in to a medium sized ziplock baggie for a coating of your fish.
And don't forget to add your salt and pepper to the mix and shake before coating the fish.
Beat two eggs in a mixing bowl so you can dip your
Dip your chunks into the beaten eggs and coat so you can dip your fish chunks before putting them in to your frymix baggie
After shaking your grouper nuggets in your frymix place in a dry bowl till your ready to cook. If needed cover and refrigerate till your till your ready to fry.
Heat your cooking oil to about 350 degrees and you can also use a deep frying pan if you don't have a home deep fryer.
When it's 350 degrees drop them in.
Make sure you have enough oil to cover the nuggets
And only after 3 1/2 to 4 minutes pull them out.
They should now be Golden brown and let drain on a plater covered with a paper towel and serve with your favorite tartar or dipping sauce.
