Jel's Spicy Peppers and Sausage

Recipe Ingredients
- 2 lb Hillshire Smoke Turkey Polish Sausage
- 1 – 16 oz jar of your favorite chunky salsa sauce
- 1 oz. Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Roasted Garlic – Fresh if you have time to chop up the Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 ea Red Bell Peppers
- 2 ea Green Bell Peppers
- 2 ea Yellow or Orange Peppers
- 2 ea Medium Yellow Sweet Onions
Preparation
Slice Hillshire Smoke Sausage into ¼ inch rounds.
Slice (julienne) onions and peppers.
Heat large sauté pan add olive oil (1 oz), when warm add in pre-sliced sausage rounds.
Brown sausage on both sides (2 minutes per side)
Add into the Sauté pan sliced peppers and onions, over medium high heat until veggies are soft.
Add salsa sauce along with seasoning, heat for 8 minutes then serve.
Serving options:
• Serve over yellow rice
• Serve in Hoagie buns
