Dates & Walnuts Cake.

Recipe Ingredients
- 200 gm - Maida,
- 200 gm - Butter,
- 200 rm - Powdered Sugar,
- 250 gm - Dates,
- 100 gm - Walnuts,
- 1/2 cup - Milk,
- 4 - Eeggs,
- 2tbsp - Caramel colour,
- 1/2 tsp - Baking powder,
- 1 tsp - Vanila essence.
Preparation
Clean the dates and soak with 4 - 5 tbsp warm water, add 1/4 tsp eating soda and keep it for 2 - 3 hours.
Smash the dates with hand and keep aside, chop the walnuts into fine pieces.
Beat the eggs together and keep side.
Seive (strain) the flour, now beat the sugar and butter till light and fluffy.
Add the flour , eggs, milk, smashed dates and walnut pieces ( Mix together properly ).
Add baking powder and caramel colour ( Mix it together thoroughly ).
Grease the baking tray with butter and pour the batter ( mixture ) into the baking tray.
Bake at 200 degree C for 30 - 40 minutes.
Your Cake is ready to eat
