Potato soup with meatballs

Recipe Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz ground meat
  • 4-5 medium sized potatoes
  • 2-3 carrots
  • 2-3 onions
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • salt
  • black ground pepper
  • peppercorn

Preparation


The amount of ingredients is for a 1-gallon saucepan.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips or cubes.

Grate the carrot on a large grater.

Finely chop the onion.

Add breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to the ground meat and mix well.

Create meatballs out of the ground meat.

Place potatoes into the boiling water.

Add carrots.

Also add onion. Add salt and pepper and bring it to a boil.

Add meatballs and boil for 15-20 minutes. Add the bay leaf 5 minutes before the dish is ready.
