Recipe Ingredients

  • 2tbls olive oil
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cans french onion soup
  • 3 cans light red kidney beans undrained (30 oz ea)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
  • 1 tbls ground cumin
  • 1 tbls chilli powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp tobasco sauce

Preparation


Sprinkle on your favorite grated cheese and yum, yum !

Add the chilli beans, tomato sauce and paste and mix. Turn the crock pot on high.

Next mix in the cumin, pepper, chilli powder, and tobasco sauce.

Mix well.

While your crock pot is getting hot brown the ground beef on the stove.

Put the french onion soup in a blender and liquify. Once the beef is cooked, pour the soup on the beef.
NOTE: If there is too much fat in the pan, drain it before adding the soup. (a little bit is ok)
You will notice that I am using my magic bullet instead of the blender.

Simmer for about 10 min.

Then pour that mixture into the crockpot and mix well.

This can cook as long as you like. I prefer making it early in the day because the longer it sit, the better it taste.

Emmmmmmmmm cheese.
