Pots with meat and potatoes


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2.2 lb meat (beef or pork filet; chicken may be used also)
  • 2.2 lb potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • tomato paste
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation


This amount of ingredients is for 6 pots (I have pots that are 17 oz)

Mince the onion.

Grate the carrots on a large grater.

Cut the meat into small pieces.

Sauté the onion in vegetable oil until a golden color.

Add carrots and sauté a little bit.

Add meat, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Fry the meat on both sides and then remove from the heat.

Peel the potatoes and cut into strips or cubes.

Fry the potatoes in vegetable oil until half ready. Add salt.

Place the potatoes into pots.

Place the meat on top. Cover with the lid and simmer in the oven at 350F for 30-40 minutes.
