Wood grouse nest salad

Recipe Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz boiled chicken filet
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cucumbers
  • greens
  • salt
  • mayonnaise
  • vegetable oil
  • 3-4 quail eggs for decoration

Preparation

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.

Fry the potatoes in a large amount of vegetable oil. For the potatoes not to stick to each other, I recommend frying it in small portions.

Cut the cucumbers into strips.

Mince the chicken filet.

Separate egg whites from yolks. Grate the egg whites on a small grater.

Mince the onion. To get rid of bitterness, add hot water to it and leave it for 10 minutes. Then drain the water.

Combine potatoes, cucumbers, filet, whites, onion. Add salt to taste.

Add mayonnaise. Place in the salad plate, sprinkle with minced greens and create a cavity. Place boiled and peeled quail eggs into the cavity. If there are no quail eggs, you can create eggs out of yolks for decoration. To do that, cream the yolks with mayonnaise, add minced greens, form small balls out of the mix and place on the salad.

Bon appétit!
