Lemon and Cranberry Pie
Recipe Ingredients
Dough:
- 10.5 oz butter or margarine
- 9 oz sugar
- 3 eggs + 2 whites
- juice from 2 lemons
- 21 oz flour
- ½ oz baking powder
decoration:
- 2 yolks
- 3.5 oz butter or margarine
- 7 oz sugar
- peel from two lemons
- 7 oz flour
also:
- 10.5 oz cranberry
Preparation
Peel the lemons (using a special knife or grate on a small grater).
Prepare the dough.
Cream the butter with sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add lemon juice and combine.
Then add flour, baking powder and mix the dough that is not tight.
To prepare decoration, cream yolks with sugar, butter and peel.
Add flour and combine, so you have crumbs.
Grease the pan (I have a pan that is 8x12”) with butter or cover with baking paper. Place the dough and even it out.
Place cranberry on the dough.
Sprinkle with crumbs and even out. Bake in the oven at 350F for 40-45 minutes. Cut the baked pie into pieces.
