Puff pies with meat and tomatoes


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz puff dough
  • 7 oz pork
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation


Cut the meat into pieces that are 2-2½” in diameter. Hammer it a little bit.

Add salt and pepper to the meat.

Cut the onion into rings.

Cut tomatoes into slices.

Roll the dough, so it is 0.1-0.2” thick. Cut circles that are 3-3 ½” in diameter.

Place the dough circle on the meat.

Place the onion on the meat.

Place the tomato slice on the onion.

Separate whites from yolks. Grease the dough edges with the whites.

Cover with another circle and thoroughly fasten the edges.

Grease the pan with vegetable oil or cover with baking paper. Place pies and grease with yolks. Bake in the oven preheated to 350F for 25-30 minutes.
