Marsh-mallow
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 lb sugar
- 1 oz gelatin
- 1 tablespoon citric acid
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon soda
Preparation
Soak gelatin in 3.5 oz water for 2 hours.
At the same time, soak sugar in 7 oz water for 2 hours using a deep sauce pan.
Then place the sugar on the heat and boil for 7-8 minutes while constantly strirring.
After it, remove the sugar from heat and cool a little bit.
Add gelatin and beat with a mixer for 10 minutes. Don’t use the highest speed setting. It is better to use # 1.
Then add citric acid and beat for 5 minutes.
Then add vanilla, soda and beat for another 5 minutes.
Then let the mix stand for 10 minutes.
Then place it on a sheet and put in a fridge for 3-4 hours.
