Croquette cookies


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup starch
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ oz dried yeast
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Preparation


Add warm milk to yeast. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Let it raise.

Chop the nuts and slightly fry.

Cream sugar with the egg.

Then add raised yeast, margarine, vanilla, nuts and mix everything well.

Then add starch and mix.

Then add flour and mix the dough.

Then wrap the dough in plastic and place in the fridge (do not put it in a freezer) for 5 hours.

Form walnut size balls from the refrigerated dough.

Place the balls on a pan and bake at 325-400F until they are a golden color.
