Curd cookies Envelopes


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 17.5 oz curd
  • 7 oz margarine
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1-1.5 cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon soda (flat)

Preparation


Cream margarine with ½ cup of sugar. Add curd and mix everything well.

Then add soda, flour and mix the dough.

Roll the dough into a layer that is 0.1-0.2” thick and cut into squares that are 3x3”. Sprinkle every square with sugar.

Create an envelope: to do that, connect corners and fasten.

Place the envelopes on a pan that is covered with baking powder or greased with butter. Bake the envelopes in the oven at 325F.
