Apple sambuca
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 lb apples
- 1 ½ cup sugar (if apples are sweet, then 1 cup)
- 4 egg whites
- 1 oz gelatin
Preparation
Soak gelatin in 5 oz of cold boiled water and leave for 1 hour.
Wash the apples, cut the into two halves and remove the core. Place them on a pan covered with foil.
Wrap apples with foil. Bake in the oven at 400F until they are soft (approximately 1 hour).
Bring the gelatin to a boil, but do not keep boiling. Cool.
Cool the apples and grate through a sieve.
Add sugar to the apple mash and beat for 2-3 minutes.
Then add egg whites and beat until the mix increases 2-3 times in volume.
Then add gelatin and beat for 1-2 minutes.
Then place the mix into parfait glasses and place in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
