Pork rolls stuffed with nuts and dried plums
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 lb pork
- 7 oz dried plums
- 7 oz walnuts
- 1 egg
- dried greens to taste (marjoram, fennel, basil)
- breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- olive or vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
Wash the dried plums and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes.
Chop the nuts.
Cut the dried plums.
Then combine nuts with dried plums.
Cut the pork and hammer it. Add salt and pepper. Then place the stuffing with nuts and dried plums on each piece of pork.
Roll the pieces with stuffing into rolls.
Fasten the roll with a toothpick.
Beat the egg. Add salt and greens.
Dip the rolls into an egg mix.
Then roll them in breadcrumbs.
Fry in oil until ready.
