Lazy stuffed cabbage leaves
Recipe Ingredients
- 14 oz cabbage
- 17.5 oz ground meat
- 1 cup steamed rice
- 1 onion
- 1 cup tomato paste
- breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil
Preparation
Cut the cabbage into squares, so they are 0.4-0.6” wide. Add boiling water and let it sit for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the water and slightly squeeze.
Mince the onion.
Combine ground meat, rice and onion.
Add cabbage, salt, pepper and mix well.
Form cutlets from the ground meat and roll them in breadcrumbs.
Fry cutlets on both sides until a golden crust is formed (do not fry until ready).
Combine sour cream and tomato paste.
Place the stuffed cabbage leaves into a baking pan, add the prepared sauce and bake in the oven at 350F for 40-45 minutes.
