Chocolate pretzels
Recipe Ingredients
- 3.5 oz butter or margarine
- 5.5 oz sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons cacao
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 10.5-12.5 oz flour
- 7 oz chocolate
- nuts to sprinkle (any nuts to your taste)
Preparation
Cream butter with sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs and combine.
Add cacao and mix well.
Add baking powder, flour and mix the dough.
Roll strips out of the dough, so they are 0.2” in diameter and around 6-6.5” in length.
Form a pretzel out of the strip.
Grease the pan with butter or cover with baking paper. Place pretzels there and bake in the oven at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
Mince the nuts.
Melt the chocolate.
Dip pretzels in chocolate.
Sprinkle with nuts.
