Soup with lentil, bacon and croutons


 

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup lentil
  • 7 oz bacon
  • 2 onions
  • bread for croutons
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil

Preparation


Pour 50 oz of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add, rinsed in water, lentil into the boiling water. Boil until ready (for as long as specified on the lentil package).

Cut bacon into small strips.

Mince the onion, fry in vegetable oil until a golden color.

Add bacon and fry well.

Cut the bread into cubes, fry in vegetable oil until a golden color.

Add bacon to the saucepan with lentil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve the cooked soup in plates; add croutons and sprinkle with greens (parsley, fennel, etc.)
