Duck stuffed with mushrooms and potatoes
Recipe Ingredients
- Duck (weight around 4.5 lb)
- 10.5 – 14 oz champignons
- potatoes
- 1-2 onions
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil
Preparation
Mince the onion.
Clean the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces.
Sauté the onion in vegetable oil.
Add mushrooms, salt and sauté until the entire liquid evaporates.
Peel the potatoes. Cut 2-3 potatoes and boil until half ready (boil for approximately 10 minutes after bringing to a boil).
Cut the leftover potatoes, add salt and pepper.
Combine the half cooked potatoes with mushrooms.
Wash the duck and rub it with salt and pepper.
Stuff the duck with mushrooms and potatoes.
Sew it up.
Place the duck into a baking sleeve and place potatoes (raw) around the duck. Bake in the oven at 350F for 1.5-2 hours. If you do not have a baking sleeve, place the duck in a deep pan and place potatoes around the duck.
